The reason I bought this was three-fold. (1) To have an accurate model of tooth anatomy including roots; (2) removable teeth for individual comparison (+ see through structure to view roots in centric occlusion); & (3) to help study for boards next year and have a comparison for projects in my D2 Year.
PS, this is not an endorsement for Viade or their products. Just me being excited.

A little bit about my life: I have given up coffee and as much caffiene as possible for the summer! I know I will need a good -wake-me-up- once school starts so I am not going to be overly ambitious and claim I have kicked the habit for good. I mean, come on now, I love coffee! It is day 6 of giving up coffee and I am over the skill-crushing headaches and anger-driven madness that withdrawal brings (and also the sitting in the corner scratching at the walls, crying, and shaking). The first day of being coffee-free was easy, just a mild headache that went away as I went about my day. Day 2 and 3 were the worst and I had to give in and take a Excedrin Migraine w/ caffeine to dull the pain and get a little fix. Once I relapse at the start of dental school, my goal is to study less and practice my coffee art more, maybe something like this:

ReplyDeleteI liked the jaw model. I think it would've been brilliant if I had one like this ,with root canals, when I was practicing RCT. =P
